Cancellations & No-Show Policy
Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify the clinic as early as possible.
Cancellation Notice
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient who may be waiting for care.
Respect for Staff & Other Patients
Late cancellations or missed appointments impact other patients needing timely access.
Please be respectful of your doctor’s time and of others waiting for appointments.
No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when a patient does not attend a scheduled appointment without notice.
-
A first no-show will be documented in your chart.
-
Repeated no-shows (2–3 within 12 months) may result in a written warning or discharge from the practice, in accordance with CPSNL guidelines.
-
Missed appointments may also result in fees, depending on the type of appointment scheduled.
Patients dismissed from the clinic will receive written notice and guidance on how to arrange future care.
