Missed Appointment / Late Cancellation Fees
To encourage respectful use of clinic time and improve access for all patients:
-
Missed appointment (standard visit): $30–$50
-
Missed appointment (procedure / extended visit): $50–$100
-
Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a late-cancellation fee.
These fees are not covered by MCP.
Payment Methods
We accept:
-
Cash
-
Debit / Credit card
-
E-transfer
Receipts are provided upon request.
Uninsured service fees are not billed through the provincial health plan.
Fee Transparency
Patients will be informed of any uninsured service fees before the service is provided.
Posting this policy publicly does not replace individual discussion of fees when booking or at the time of service.
Exceptional Circumstances
The clinic may, at its discretion, waive or reduce a fee in circumstances such as:
-
Financial hardship
-
Compassionate reasons
-
Errors in communication or scheduling
Third-Party Billing
If an employer, insurer, or other third party requires forms or reports:
-
Patient is responsible for fees if the service is not insured by MCP.
-
Patients may be asked to pay at the time of service and seek reimbursement from the third party.
